River Soar 11-02-2011

Lost 2 fish tonight, did manage to get a chub out although not very big.
Got down there about half 2 but seen no action till 4, this is when I lost the first fish.
Had the fish on that I think was a chub for only a short while before the hook pulled.
There was lots of fish moving about so was feeling lucky for another run.
This came at just gone 5, the rod right bent round and when I struck into it it instantly started taking line then bang hook pull well gutted. Checked my rig but could not find reason why the hook had pulled twice.
I changed the rig anyway to be on the safe side and dropped it back in.
Only 10 min later it was off again this time it was in the net after a couple of minutes, turned out to be a chub again so 2 session adding up to 7 hours of fishing has produced 6 runs and 3 fish all chub. Bit of a bad ratio looking at it like that.
