River Soar 15-11-2011

A change of scenery tonight with a session on Ratcliffe-on-soar I’ve only had a pike session down here so I know nothing about the place. The peg right at the weir looking tempting but I carried on walking till I got to the deeps,  I walked all the way to the end of field and decided to have a go about half way up. I chucked one bait under a tree to my to my left and the in front of me over a big patch of lilies. Well I didn’t get any thing so first blank for a while……
